We use Secure Equipment Access to connect to all IoT controllers at the store. We can remotely check the status of the controllers as well as reboot them if necessary. We use it to manage the in-store infrastructure. I receive an alert right to my Apple Watch in the event the system is down.
Cisco IoT Operations Dashboard is a critical part of the solution. It provides template-based, zero-touch deployment, connectivity monitoring, management of the lifecycle of applications on the industrial routers and it allows us to remotely configure and upgrade Energybox equipment at customer locations without the need for site visits. And all of us are making significantly fewer site visits to check on equipment and other assets.
